2007, roughly 200 feet, three day long performance piece, unfired slip cast porcelain

I spent 3 hot summer days building this at A-Z West at Joshua Tree, CA. The two historical exports of China - California’s Chinese immigrant railroad workers and porcelain - contrasts greatly in terms of monetary value. Unfortunately, porcelain was more valuable than human beings.
